Atelier Morales (Teresa Ayuso and Juan Luis Morales, who live and work in Paris ) will participate in the 55th Venice Biennale. (Open to the public June 1st)
Curators Sarah Gold and Karling De Jong chose the artmaking duo for their group show Personal Structures, which brings together artists of diverse cultures and ages to explore ideas of time, space, and existence. The exhibition—part of an ongoing project initiated in 2002—will be presented in the Palazzo Bembo. The 28 artists in the show include Yoko Ono, Hermann Nitsch, Suh Jeong Min of South Korea, and Faiza Butt of Pakistan.

Pilgrims is the title of the most recent photographic series conceived by the creative duo Atelier Morales, and it is also the title of the exhibition of this series that Curator’s Voice Art Projects is presenting in Miami. This collective of Cuban origin and based in Paris, composed by Teresa Ayuso and Juan Luis Morales, assumes the photographic act as an inquiry into history and the collective memory.
