Group Show by Latin-American Artists at the Lowe Art Museum of The University of Miami.

“Beyond the Sounds of Silence: Latin-American Artists Connecting Art, Sound, and Society”, an exhibition project conceived by Aluna Curatorial Collective for the Lowe Art Museum of The University of Miami (UM).

This multi-sensory exhibition features leading artists from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela, all of whom explore the interaction of image, sound, memory, and perception. Thematic focuses include the intersection of indigenous traditions with contemporary art as well as the relationship between form and language in musical implements, including the most personal instrument: the human voice. This exhibition was curated by Aluna Curatorial Collective.
