GUILLERMO PORTIELES: THE WHEEL REVISITED: Molding Identity, Curated by Daniela Montana will open at Arch Gallery on Friday, November 8th, 2013, from 7:30-10:00 pm. The wheel has been at the center of human technological advancement since the Stone Age and continues to hold its place in our evolution as we enter the Molecular Age. Join us for a unique exploration of this common-place object in Guillermo Portieles’ upcoming individual exhibit at Arch Gallery.
Fellow artists, colleagues, art lovers and the curious are welcome to join us at Arch Gallery for an informal evening of enriching conversation and insight. Willy Castellanos, Art Historian, as well as, Co-Founder, President and Curator of Aluna Art Foundation, will facilitate a conversation in Spanish with visual artist Guillermo Portieles regarding his exhibition “The Wheel Revisited: Molding Identity.” Enjoy a glass of wine after the Art Forum.
