Emerging Collector

Emerging Collector – Bakehouse Art compels 2013.  -The Bakehouse Art Complex, BAC, presents a three part interactive series where art enthusiasts can learn the ins and outs of becoming collectors in today’s art market. Each session will be followed by guided studio tours which will allow guests to visit BAC resident artists in their working studios. Denise Gerson, former Associate Director of the Lowe Art Museum and independent curator, will moderate panel discussions on the select Thursday evenings beginning January 24 with Emerge as a Collector, followed by Find the Artist, Make Your Purchase! on February 7, and Now What? Collections Management on February 21. All panels will take place from 6pm to 8pm at the BAC.

The BAC, South Florida’s premiere center for emerging and mid-career artists, provides a unique setting where gallery exhibitions are presented alongside the artist studio, giving guests the opportunity to put into practice all they have learned during the talks.
