LnS GALLERY is pleased to announce the opening of ‘Carlos Alfonzo: Legacy’ – an exhibition honoring Alfonzo as a towering figure within the history of post-revolutionary art from Cuba and its diaspora. Among the works on view is “The City (1989),” a magnum opus by el Maestro on view for the first time in nearly two decades. We welcome you on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm to inaugurate this historic exhibition.
“Legacy” commemorates the publication of a major monographic volume on the painter, “Carlos Alfonzo: Late Paintings,” published by the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (@icamiami) in partnership with the exhibition of the shared name.
