Christian Duran, Rubén Torres Llorca and Yolanda Sánchez in group show, “Aesthetics and Values,”The Honors College at FIU presents its annual student organized and curated exhibition. This year’s exhibition features works in a wide variety of media by nine South Florida based artists: Julie Davidow, Christian Duran, Edouard Duval-Carrié, Aramis Gutierrez, Alette Simmons-Jimenez, Ruben Torres Llorca, Pepe Mar, Yolanda Sanchez, and Robert Thiele. This exhibition is the culmination of the Honors College seminar; in which student from all disciplines examine the role that visual arts play in the social and cultural dialogue of contemporary issues. Come see this dynamic collaboration between artists and students at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
