Carlos Estévez: Plenilunio at Enlace – Arte contemporáneo, Lima, Perú

Galeria Enlace Arte Contemporaneo and Carlos Estevez are pleased to announce their upcoming exhibition, Plenilunio. The show’s title refers to the full moon as a symbol of illumination. The moon not only brings about an essential cycle in our existence, but it also illuminates the deep corners of our minds. Through sixteen canvasses and four drawings, Carlos Estevez hopes to share his illuminated vision of life, particularly of a recent and prolific period in his career.

The works examine various themes such as spiritual journeys, the search for success, family ties, among others. These themes are explored through visual representations that mix symbols from music, animal morphology, and a series of lines which seamlessly bring together the figures or sometimes expand them.
