Our America: The Latino Presence in American Art .  -Our America presents more than ninety works of art across all media by seventy-two Latino artists active since the mid-twentieth century and gives voice to their broader American experience. Drawn entirely from the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition explores how Latino artists shaped the artistic movements of their day and recalibrated key themes in American art and culture. Exhibition curated by Carmen Ramos.

The exhibition will likely tour to six venues after it closes in Washington DC. The national tour includes the following confirmed venues: The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami, Florida (March 28, 2014-June 22, 2014); and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts in Salt Lake City, Utah (February 6, 2015-May 17, 2015).
