The exhibition examines shifting boundaries between the origins of creativity and American ingenuity. Sixteen artists with ties to South Florida; collectively create an interpretive, visual perspective for viewers to reflect on what it means to be “made” in the U.S.A., a question that resonates even more poignantly in today’s environment. The work ranges from figurative abstraction to sculptural hybrids of re-purposed objects and two-dimensional work, to video and performance art.
